To catch a lobster in Stardew Valley, you gotta get yourself a crab pot first. Buy one from Willy's Fish Shop or craft it if you've leveled up your fishing skills. Once you've got your crab pot, place it in the ocean, not fresh water, and bait it. Check back the next day, and you might just find a lobster waiting for you!

Honestly, it's all about luck. Set those crab pots in the ocean and cross your fingers. Some days are just better than others for snagging a lobster.

Lobster catching 101: Ocean + Crab Pot + Bait = Lobster (hopefully). Patience is key, my friend.

I slap a crab pot down at the beach, bait it, and bam, lobster dinner. Works every time, almost. Tip: Befriend Willy for extra fishing tips, and maybe he'll spill some secrets on nabbing those crustaceans even quicker.
