Catching a Rainbow Trout in Stardew Valley is all about timing and location! Make sure you're fishing during the summer, between 6 AM and 7 PM in-game time. Pro tip: The Traveling Cart sometimes sells Rainbow Trout. So, if fishing isn't your thing or you're out of season, check there. I snagged a couple without even touching a rod!
