How to Catch a Tarantula in Animal Crossing
CatalogingDisk路8 months agoCatching a tarantula in Animal Crossing is not for the faint of heart! First, you gotta have your net ready. Then, when you spot one, approach it slowly. If it raises its legs, stop moving! Once it calms down, sneak a bit closer, then swing your net when you're in range. Timing and patience are key. Good luck!

Just run at it and swing your net wildly. Worked for me after a few tries. Who needs stealth?
Tarantulas appear after 7pm and before 4am. Look for them during these hours and make sure you're on an island or during the months they're available (typically November-April in the Northern Hemisphere). Slow and steady does it. If it notices you, freeze!
Pro tip: Clear out the island of all trees, stumps, flowers, and rocks to increase tarantula spawns. Makes it easier to spot and catch them. Yes, it's a bit of prep work, but totally worth it for those sweet, sweet bells.
