Catching creatures in Animal Crossing is super chill! First, you gotta get yourself a net or a fishing rod from Tom Nook's shop. For bugs, just sneak up on them with your net and swing it when you're close enough. For fish, toss your line into the water when you see a shadow and press the button when it bites. Patience is key, my friend!

Pro tip: for rare bugs and fish, check out the different locations and times they appear. Some critters are super shy and only come out at night or in certain weather. Happy hunting!

Honestly, just run around with a net and go wild. Works for me every time. Though, for fishing, you really need to wait for the 'plop' sound before you hit the button. Timing is everything.

Gotta disagree with the 'run and gun' strategy for bugs. The trick is to move slowly. If you startle them, they'll disappear. Slow and steady wins the race here.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
