Catching a giant trevally in Animal Crossing isn't as tough as it sounds! First, you'll want to make sure you're fishing in the right spot. Giant trevally can only be caught off the pier, so don't waste your time on the beaches or rivers. They're available from May to October for the Northern Hemisphere and from November to April for the Southern Hemisphere. Make sure you're fishing during these months! You'll also need a lot of patience and perhaps a bit of luck. Keep your fishing rod handy and throw your line into the sea when you see a large shadow. It might take a few tries, but you'll snag one eventually!

Honestly, catching a giant trevally is more about luck than skill. I must have cast my line a hundred times before I finally got one. Just keep at it, and make sure you're fishing at the right time and place.

Giant Trevally? Just fish off the pier, easy. They're big and only show up there. Nothing more to it.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
