TargetingDirt·7 months agoSuper easy! Just power off your PS4 completely, remove the hard drive bay cover, unscrew the old drive, swap in the new one, and reassemble. Don't forget to reinstall the system software!

I changed mine last weekend! Turn off and unplug your PS4, slide off the HDD bay cover, remove the screw, swap the drives, and reassemble. Use a USB stick with the system file to reinstall the OS.
It’s simple – just slide off the bay cover, swap the drives, and put the cover back on. Remember to reformat the new drive.
Why bother? Just get an external HDD and save yourself the hassle.
