To change a player's role in MLB The Show, head to your team management screen, select the player you want to adjust, and you should see options to change their role. It's that simple!
You can't directly change a player's role; you have to play them in different positions consistently.
Go to the player management screen, choose the player, and voila, change their role to whatever fits your strategy!
