Easy! From the main menu, go to Settings (the little gear icon) > Data > Chat Type. Switch from Quick Chat to Free Chat or vice versa. Done!

Had the same question! Just open the game, hit the gear, go to data settings, and change the chat type. Simple as that!

You only need to head to the game's settings and toggle the chat type under the data tab.
