Remember, if you're looking to change ships on the fly, use the ship customization option at space stations. It's pretty straightforward: dock, swap, and blast off!
To switch ships in Starfield, you'll need to head over to a ship services technician at any major spaceport or station. Once there, select the option to 'View and Modify Ships' and you'll be able to pick your desired ship from your inventory.
