How to change companion outfits in Starfield

I tried it myself and it's pretty straightforward. Open the inventory screen, select your companion, and then switch their gear. Voilá!

Easy peasy! Just talk to your companion, go to the trade menu, and equip the new outfit you want them to wear.

Honestly, just give them the gear in their inventory, and they'll automatically wear the best stuff. No fuss!
