Tap on the settings gear on the top left, then click on 'Change Name' and follow the prompts. Easy peasy!

You just go to settings, hit 'Change Name,' and type in your new username. Boom! You're all set.

From personal experience, head to the game settings, tap 'Change Name,' and you can switch it as long as you haven't changed it in the last 30 days. Worked for me every time!
