Honestly, just buy a new Hot Wheels car if you're thinking about changing the rims. It's way easier and you get to add another cool car to your collection!
I've changed rims on a few of my Hot Wheels cars. Sometimes, you can just pop the old ones off with a bit of force and snap the new ones on. Worked for me, but I guess it depends on the model!
