Easy peasy! When you start Splatoon 3, you'll be asked to choose between an Inkling or an Octoling. Just pick Octoling, and voila, you're ready to rock those tentacles!

Octolings are the cooler choice anyway, just restart your game and choose your destiny wisely.

To switch between Inkling and Octoling in Splatoon 3, you gotta head over to the Settings or select your character when creating a save file. It's like picking your favorite flavor of ice cream, except with more ink!

From my experience, Octolings offer a slightly different vibe, and you can still unlock them by completing the Octo Expansion from Splatoon 2 if you haven't already. It's worth it!
