As someone who recently did this, log into your Microsoft account, go to 'Your info', and then 'Manage how you sign in to Microsoft.' Add the new email, verify it, and make it primary. Don't forget to remove the old one if you want!
Head to account.microsoft.com, log in, and under 'Your info', select 'Manage how you sign in to Microsoft'. Add your new email, verify it, and set it as primary. You're all set!
