Honestly, it takes like two minutes. Go to Settings > Account Management > Account Information > Profile > Online ID. Follow instructions. Done and done.

Changing your PS4 gamertag is easy! Just go to Settings > Account Management > Account Information > Profile > Online ID. Follow the prompts, and boom, new gamertag!

Why even change it? Your original one's probably cooler. But if you must, the steps are in the settings under Account Management.
