From personal experience: I went to the Epic Games site, found 'Account Info,' clicked the edit button next to my display name, and entered my new one. Worked like a charm!
Easy peasy! Just log into your Epic Games account, head to 'Account Info,' and click the pencil icon next to your current username. Type in your new one and save!
Go to the Epic Games website, log in, navigate to your account settings, and you can change your display name there. Boom, new you!
