To get Spyro back to normal, try finding a power-up gate in the game that restores his original appearance. Either that, or finish the level you're on and he'll probably reset!

The red or blue Spyro look is actually pretty snazzy, why change it?
Simply leave the level, and Spyro should revert back to his usual self upon returning. Happy gliding!
To revert weird transformations in Spyro, just reload the last save. Works like a charm every time!
