Changing your Steam Store region is a bit tricky but doable. First, you'll need to be in the country you're changing to, as Steam uses your IP address to determine your location. Then, update your Store Country in Steam settings through 'Account Details'. You'll have to make a purchase using a payment method from that new country. Remember, Steam's pretty strict about this due to licensing issues, so make sure you're not just trying to get games cheaper!

Changing your Steam region just to snag games at lower prices? That's a hard no from Steam. They require you to actually be in the country you're switching to. Not worth the risk if you ask me.

Straight up, just be where you wanna switch your Steam region to. Steam's no fool; it knows where you are by your IP. Then, slam in a payment method that matches your new country when you buy something. Keep it legit, though; Steam's watching.

I moved to a new country and had to change my Steam Store region. Just updated my payment info with a local card, and it was pretty straightforward. Make sure you're actually in the country you're switching to, or Steam won't budge.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
