Currently, the PS5 doesn't support custom background themes. Sony limits you to the dynamic backgrounds tied to the games you have installed. Maybe they'll add it in a future update!

I miss the custom backgrounds from the PS4! But, for now, we're all stuck with the game themes on the PS5.
