Nope, you're stuck with 'em. The Resident Representative is the first player character on the island, and there's no legit way to change it without nuking your whole island from orbit (figuratively, by deleting your save). So, choose wisely or love the one you're with!

Actually, you can't change the Resident Representative in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It's a one-and-done deal with whoever sets up the island first. Consider it the island's permanent VIP (Very Important Player).

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you actually can't change the Resident Representative in Animal Crossing. The title sticks with the first player who created the island. If you're really dying for a switch, the only way to do it is by deleting your island and starting fresh. A bit extreme, but hey, that's the only workaround.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
