You can't change your weapon preset during a landing in War Thunder. You'll have to wait until you respawn or start a new match.
Just land safely, and respawn to access the customization options in the hangar screen. That's when you can change your weapon preset.
You can't change weapon presets mid-battle, even when landing. Plan your loadout carefully before you head into the fray!
