Open WhatsApp, tap on Settings, then Notifications, and pick your new tone. Don't forget to save it!
I changed mine last week! Just head to Settings > Notifications. You can choose different tones for messages and calls, too.
Settings -> Notifications -> Pick your tone. It's that quick!
