Actually, you can't change your Steam account login name. It's stuck with you forever, like a tattoo. But you can change your profile name anytime, which is what people see. So, choose wisely!

Just FYI, changing your Steam username doesn't affect your account name, the one you log in with. That one is for life. But sprucing up your profile name? Go crazy with it in the settings!

Changing your Steam username is a breeze! Just open the Steam client and click on your current username at the top-right corner of the screen. Then, go to 'Account Details' and under 'Contact Info', you'll see the option to change your profile name. Remember, this name is what friends and community members will see, but your account name used for login will remain the same. Have fun picking a new name!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
