Just hold the right mouse button (or equivalent) while attacking with your melee weapon to channel melee damage. Easy peasy!
Channeling melee damage is old-school Warframe. Focus on mods like Blood Rush and crit-based builds instead!
To channel melee damage in Warframe, activate the Channeling option while in melee mode by holding down the right mouse button or the corresponding button on your console controller. You'll notice energy draining, but you'll deal more damage!
