How to check if a Pokemon card is rare
CorrectingGait·7 months agoHonestly, just flip the card and check the bottom. Star = Rare. No need to overcomplicate it.

To spot a rare Pokemon card, the symbol in the corner is key, but don't forget about texture and color variations. Some of the ultra-rare cards have unique textures, holographic patterns, or different color schemes not found in common or uncommon cards. Plus, the feeling of holding a rare card is just different – trust me, when you have one, you'll know!
Checking if a Pokemon card is rare is pretty simple! First, look at the bottom right corner of the card for a symbol. A circle means common, a diamond for uncommon, and a star indicates it's rare. Also, holo or foil cards are usually considered more valuable and rarer. If you see a little symbol like a star, “PR”, or letters like “SR” beside the set number, that’s a good hint you’ve got something special!
