Simple: real Funkos don't look like they've been painted by a toddler. If the paint job's a mess and the box looks like it's been through a war, it's probably fake.

Checking if a Funko Pop is fake isn't rocket science, but it does need an eagle eye! First off, examine the box closely. Official Funko Pop boxes have a distinct clear and vibrant print quality, while fakes often look dull or blurry. Don't forget to check the bottom of the box for the Funko logo and other product details - missing info is a red flag! The figure itself should have smooth, quality paint and clear details. Shoddy paintwork screams 'fake'! Lastly, the weight can be a giveaway; genuine Funkos feel solid, while knock-offs might feel lighter.

I bought a Funko once and it turned out to be a fake. It was super lightweight and the colors were off. Always check the heft and color accuracy!

If you're a Funko Pop player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
