To check your ship inventory in Starfield, you gotta open the ship's cargo hold through the spaceship menu. From there, you can see all the items you've picked up during your interstellar adventures.

Easy peasy, just hop into the cockpit and access the ship menu by hitting 'R' on the PC or pressing the appropriate button on your console. All your ship goodies will be right there!
Press whatever button accesses the ship menu on your platform. The inventory option should be right there. Voila!
Once you're in the ship, navigate to the ship's cargo hold through the menu. Found all my cool loot there!
