Chopping down trees in Animal Crossing is pretty simple but you gotta have the right tools. First, make sure you've got yourself an axe. Not the flimsy one, but the proper axe. Once you've got that, just walk up to the tree you wanna say goodbye to, and start swinging that axe. Three hits and timber! Your tree will be down. Just remember, if you're playing New Horizons, you'll need to eat a piece of fruit to get that super strength if you're using a flimsy axe to chop.

Actually, you don't always need to chop down trees! If you just wanna move them, eat some fruit and use a shovel. It's a great way to rearrange without turning your island into a tree graveyard.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
