Get a laser lens cleaning disc from an electronics store. Pop it in, follow the instructions, and you'll be good to go!
Just use a soft, dry cloth. Carefully wipe the lens in a circular motion. No need for fancy tools here.
Hey, I opened mine up last month! Unplug it, carefully disassemble the console to access the lens, then use a cotton swab with some isopropyl alcohol to lightly clean it. Worked like a charm for me!
