Buff out minor scratches with a microfiber cloth and a bit of water. For deeper scratches, you might need a disc repair kit from any electronics store.

Light scratches? Toothpaste can work wonders! Gently rub a tiny amount on the disc with a soft cloth, then rinse and dry it. Worked for me!

Honestly, if it's really scratched up, just get it resurfaced at a game or video store. DIY fixes only go so far.

I tried toothpaste and baking soda paste on an old game鈥攙oila, it worked like a charm! Just be super gentle.

Banana peel! Yeah, sounds wild, but the waxy residue can sometimes fill in scratches. Rub the inside of the peel on the disc, wipe with a soft cloth, and give it a shot.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
