First, unplug the power brick from the Xbox and the wall. Then, use a can of compressed air to blow out any dust from the vents. Finish off by wiping down the exterior with a slightly damp cloth. Easy peasy!

Unplug everything first! Then grab some compressed air to blast out the dust from the vents. Lastly, wipe down the outside with a microfiber cloth. Worked for me!
