How to Climb a Cage in Super Mario 64
To climb a cage in Super Mario 64, press the A button to jump and then hold the Z button to cling to the cage. Move the joystick in the direction you want to climb, and press the B button to punch if you need to knock out some enemies!

Just jump towards the cage and Mario will grab it automatically. Use the analog stick to move him up, down, or sideways. Easy peasy!
Use the jump button to reach the cage, then move the control stick to climb. It鈥檚 so simple my grandma could do it!
I always just jump and hold on to the cage. After that, it鈥檚 just a matter of moving the joystick!
