Collecting Shimmer in Terraria is like stumbling upon magic dust in your backyard! First off, make sure you're in a world that's been blessed (or cursed, depending on how you look at it) with the Shimmer. You'll know you're in the right place when everything looks like it's been hit with a disco ball. Then, look for Shimmer enemies or open Shimmer chests to get your hands on this sparkly stuff. Don't forget to use a Shimmer Pickaxe or Magic Shimmer tools for mining – regular old tools just won't cut it with this mystical material. Happy hunting!

Just play during a Shimmer event, and you'll find Shimmer all over. It's not rocket science, people.

I found a ton of Shimmer just by accident while exploring at night. The world kinda glowed up, and there it was—shiny stuff everywhere. Digging and fighting Shimmer-infected enemies did the trick for me!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
