I've done this before! Definitely use CronusMAX Plus. It’s a bit of a setup but worth it for cross-console magic.

Surprisingly, it’s easier than you'd think! Use a PC to remap the Xbox 360 controller with software like SCPToolkit and then plug it into the PS3 via USB. Good luck!
