Super easy! Just plug your mic into your console or PC. Then, go to Fortnite's settings, navigate to the audio tab, and select your mic from the input devices list. You're ready to chat!

Plug it in, make sure it's not muted, and check the audio settings in Fortnite. Done!

Just use a USB mic or headset that鈥檚 compatible with your platform. Most newer consoles and PCs will recognize it instantly.

Fortnite newbie here! Had the same issue. Plugged in my mic, went to settings > audio > voice chat settings, and selected my mic. It worked perfectly for me.

If your mic doesn鈥檛 work after setup, make sure voice chat is enabled and the volume is up. It sounds basic, but it fixes most problems.

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
