I've done it! First, install SCPToolkit on your PC. Then, connect your PS3 controller via USB and run the toolkit to pair it over Bluetooth. Disconnect, and you're set. Works like a charm every time!
Honestly, just use a USB cable. Wireless is a hassle for PS3 controllers on PC.
