You'll need a Bluetooth dongle if your PC doesn't have built-in Bluetooth. Use a tool called SCPToolkit to pair your PS3 controller. Just follow the steps to install drivers, pair the controller, and you're good to go!

I've done it! First, install SCPToolkit on your PC. Then, connect your PS3 controller via USB and run the toolkit to pair it over Bluetooth. Disconnect, and you're set. Works like a charm every time!
