Unfortunately, connecting a PS3 to a laptop with just an HDMI cable isn't possible because laptops don't have HDMI input ports. You would need an HDMI capture card or an external capture device to make it work.

No can do, folks! Laptops don't take HDMI input, so you'll need more than just a cable. Consider an HDMI capture device.

You can't directly connect a PS3 to a laptop using just an HDMI cable. Laptops have HDMI-out ports, but not HDMI-in ports, so it won't work. Try using a video capture device instead to display the PS3 screen on your laptop.

Been there, tried that! Laptops only output HDMI signals, they don't receive them. Look into external video capture devices for this.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
