Hot take: Unless you're streaming or recording, just use a TV. It's way less hassle than dealing with capture cards and adapters.
I just use an HDMI splitter. Connect one HDMI to your PS3 and the other to your PC monitor. Simple and effective!
Easiest way? Get an HDMI capture card. Plug the PS3's HDMI into the capture card and the capture card into your PC's USB port. Presto, game time!
