I’ve got a SteelSeries too! If it's wireless, make sure it's in Xbox mode. If it’s wired, simply plug it into the Xbox controller’s 3.5mm jack. You're good to go!

Easy peasy! Just turn on your Xbox, go to Settings > Devices & connections > Accessories, and sync your SteelSeries headset by pressing the Xbox pairing button and the pairing button on your headset at the same time!
