All you need is a USB cable to pair your controller to the PS3 initially. Once connected, press the PS button and then remove the cable. The controller will connect wirelessly from that point on. Simple!

First, connect your PS3 controller to the console using a USB cable. Press the PS button in the center, then you can unplug the USB cable and the controller should sync wirelessly. Easy peasy!

I鈥檝e done this a hundred times: plug the controller into the USB port, hit the PS button, and after it syncs, disconnect the USB. Works like a charm!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
