Just plug a USB dongle for your controller into the Steam Deck if it uses one. Sometimes that's way easier than Bluetooth.

Super simple to get your wireless controller connected to the Steam Deck! Just go to the Bluetooth settings on your Steam Deck, put your controller in pairing mode (usually involves holding down a button until a light flashes), and then select your controller from the list of available devices. Should be good to go in seconds!

Make sure your controller is charged! Nothing's worse than getting everything connected and then having your controller die on you.

Honestly, just use the built-in controls. Why mess with perfection?

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
