You can’t directly connect an Xbox 360 controller to an Xbox One. But the CronusMAX or Titan One adapters can help bridge the gap!

Unfortunately, Xbox 360 controllers aren't compatible with Xbox One. You'll need an Xbox One controller or an adapter to make it work.

I tried linking my Xbox 360 controller to my Xbox One and no luck! Ended up getting an adapter, so that's your best bet.
