Sorry to break it to you, but Xbox 360 wireless controllers aren't compatible with Xbox One directly. Game on with a new controller!

You can't directly connect a 360 controller to an Xbox One, but you can use a third-party adapter like the Brook Super Converter.

I tried connecting my 360 controller to my Xbox One, and it just won't work. Ended up buying a new Xbox One controller instead!

Quick answer: It's not happening. Xbox One controllers only.

If you're set on using that old 360 controller, try looking into third-party adapters. Otherwise, upgrading to an Xbox One controller is the way to go.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
