Cooking in Animal Crossing isn't like your typical kitchen scenario, but with the latest update in New Horizons, you can indeed start whipping up some dishes! First off, you need to grab yourself a DIY Recipe for cooking. You can snag these from messages in bottles on the beach, by talking to your villagers, or through various events. Once you've got a recipe, head over to a kitchen setup which includes a stove or a kitchenette. Make sure you've gathered all the necessary ingredients listed in the recipe, and then simply select the recipe from your inventory to start cooking. Voila, culinary masterpiece achieved!

Can't cook if you don't play! But seriously, once you get the hang of it, cooking in Animal Crossing is pretty straightforward. Get recipes, gather ingredients, and find a kitchen. Simple, fun, and sometimes you get a dish that looks too cute to eat.

You actually cook in that game? Thought it was all about catching bugs and fishing. Color me surprised.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
