pro tip: you don't need to build a bridge immediately. Just use the Vaulting Pole to hop over rivers until you're ready to upgrade. I spent my first few weeks pole-vaulting everywhere and it was totally fine!

Crossing water in Animal Crossing is a piece of cake once you get the right tools! You'll need the Vaulting Pole for hopping over rivers. You just run up to the river, select the Vaulting Pole from your inventory, and then vault across. For wider bodies of water or accessing other parts of the island, you'll eventually unlock the ability to build bridges. Keep playing and chatting with Tom Nook; he'll guide you on your bridge-building journey!

Honestly, bridges are overrated. Vaulting Pole all the way. It's quicker, cheaper, and adds a bit of fun to the game. Who needs bridges when you have a pole?

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
