Honestly, setting a monthly budget helped me a ton! Just decide how much you're okay spending on Pokemon cards each month and stick to it. Also, focusing on specific sets or cards you really want can keep you from buying packs just for the sake of it. Another tip is trading with friends! Sometimes they have the cards you want, saving you from buying more packs.

I just went cold turkey. Realized my closet was turning into a card vault more than a place to keep my clothes. Now, I just enjoy the game with what I have and focus on playing online. It's about the fun, not just collecting!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
