Personally, I found using Kirby鈥檚 Stone ability super effective! You can avoid a lot of damage while dealing some decent hits.
Just spam ranged attacks with Samus or Link. Stay back and keep your distance from Tabuu's crazy moves.
Use characters with good air mobility like Pit or Meta Knight to stay agile against Tabuu鈥檚 powerful attacks.
Pro tip: Learn the timing of his attacks, especially Off Waves. Patience is key, and don't button mash!
