Oh, you wanna say bye-bye to a villager, huh? Well, it's a bit of a process, but here's the skinny: You can't directly delete a villager, but you can encourage them to move out. Ignoring them completely, complaining to Isabelle about them, or fencing them in so they can't interact much can make them consider leaving. When they finally have a thought bubble over their head, that's your chance! Talk to them and they might say they're thinking of moving. Tell them to go for it, and poof, they'll pack up!

Hot take: Just wait it out. Villagers decide to leave randomly, so you might as well enjoy the chaos and let the Animal Crossing gods decide.

Been there, done that! I complained to Isabelle about one of my villagers EVERY DAY and finally, they decided to leave. It felt like forever, but patience is key. Just keep at it, and make sure you're always nice to the ones you wanna keep!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
