To delete your Animal Crossing: New Horizons save data, you've gotta be really sure you wanna say goodbye to your island. First, hit up the System Settings from your Switch's Home menu. Scroll down to Data Management, then choose 'Delete Save Data' at the bottom. Find Animal Crossing from the list and confirm you want to delete. Remember, this wipes your island off the map for good, so make sure it's what you really want!

Got tired of my first island and decided to start fresh. Deleted my data from the System Settings. Felt like a new beginning. Weirdly liberating!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
