You can't technically 'delete' it, but setting the privacy to 'Only Me' works like a charm. No one needs to know you’re 29 forever!
Just hide it! Changing the visibility to 'Only Me' is like making it vanish. Go to profile, 'About,' 'Contact and Basic Info,' and edit birthday.
